The new appointee takes on the role of studio head at 31st Union following the departure of previous head the ex-Sledgehammer Games executive, who was removed from his post due to Project Ethos' disappointing initial reveal last autumn.
On Wednesday, 2K president a key figure informed staff about this decision through an internal memo, which highlighted that early feedback sessions had indicated the requirement for a distinct direction.
The president stated that the team is now refining the project with a revised focus, aiming to address player expectations.
A Pattern of Strategic Recruitment
This announcement follows a similar action taken by 2K Games in the summer, when they recruited an industry veteran from Blizzard to contribute to the BioShock development group.

The appointee currently serves in the position of executive producer and head of production at the renowned studio for Apex Legends.
